29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) Smithsonian Natural History Museum - On or about October 4, 2016, security personnel in the Natural History Museum were not provided with appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary to minimize or prevent injury from deadly physical force. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
