29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields:  a. Column F-18/Front Structure - On or about October 18, 2016, employees were required to walk and work around automatic robotic weldings cells and these were not totally enclosed. Employees were thereby exposed to the hazards from welding arc rays.  1. Northeast side - of Column F-18 had perforations, rips, and gaps.  2. Southeast side - of Column F -18 had perforations, rips, and gaps.    The Tower Automotive - Chicago was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.252 (b)(2)(iii), which was contained in the OSHA inspection number 966083 ,citation number 1 , item number  1 and was affirmed as a final order on  May 20, 2014 respect to a workplace located at 12350 S. Avenue "O", Chicago, IL 60633.
