29 CFR 1910.38(c)(2): Procedures for emergency evacuation, including type of evacuation, were not included in an Emergency Action Plan: a. Grace Chapel , 1 West Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083 The employers written emergency action plan did not describe the specific procedures: for emergency evacuation of employees if they reported the symptoms associated with carbon monoxide poisoning; whether employees should return to an evacuated building after employees have reported the symptoms associated with carbon monoxide poisoning; whether employees should use elevators if there is an active fire; what employees should do if they enter a facility that was not equipped with carbon monoxide alarms, but otherwise have reason to believe there might be carbon monoxide hazards; and for assisting physically challenged employees during an emergency evacuation.
