29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 259 Turnpike Rd., Southborough, MA: On or about July 19, 2016, an employee was working at the unprotected edge of the roof of the building being constructed at this address, more than 22 feet above the ground below without any fall protection. DMC Drywall System Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501 B 1 which was contained in OSHA inspection number1019508, citation number 1, item number 1B and was affirmed as a final order on April 6, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 68 Derry Rd., Hudson, NH.
