29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure: On or about October 20, 2016, employees were exposed to a fall hazard of greater than 6 feet to the ground level below, while they installed sheet metal on a flat roof, without using a personal fall arrest system, fall protection equipment, or an alternative fall protection plan.
