29 CFR 1926.28(a): Appropriate personal protective equipment was not worn by employee(s) in all operations where there was exposure to hazardous conditions: (a) Site: On or about October 19, 2016 and at times prior, employees were building a masonry wall for the Kitchen Cafeteria at Friendship Baptist Church and were applying masonry cement, containing Portland cement. The employer exposed employees to caustic burns to hands or dermatitis. Employees routinely use their hands to apply Portland Cement when doing masonry brick work.

Clean water, non-alkaline soap, and clean towels were not available, exposing employees to caustic burns to hands.
