29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:    a)  The employer does not ensure that employees use a personal fall protection system when exposed to serious fall hazards.  Employees perform framing activities on a 6 in 12 and 8 in 12 pitched roof without a fall protection system in place.  The employees are exposed to fall hazards of 10 feet or greater at various locations on the roof.  The condition was most recently observed at 2875 East Bogie, Post Falls ID, on October 21, 2016.    b) The employer does not ensure that employees use a fall protection system when exposed to serious fall hazards.  Employees perform framing activities from a temporary work surface inside the structure without a fall protection system in place.  The employees are exposed to fall hazards up to 11 feet from the work surface to the ground floor below. The condition was most recently observed at 2875 East Bogie, Post Falls ID, on October 21, 2016.    c) The employer does not ensure that employees use a fall protection system when exposed to serious fall hazards.  Employees perform framing activities on the second floor without a guardrail system in place on the open sides.  The employees are exposed to a 9 foot fall hazard to the ground floor below. Employees use pneumatic nail guns without eye protection. Employees use extension ladders that extend one to one and a half rungs above the landing.
