29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a) Employees were exposed to head injury while working without protective helmets under and around areas where stucco was being torn from the exterior walls of a building and dropped to the ground from elevations of up to approximately 50 feet. Castino Painting Company, Inc., dba Castino Restoration was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.100 (a) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 922308, citation 1, item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 11, 2013, with respect to a worksite located at 1113 W. Lake Cook Road, Buffalo Grove, Illinois. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
