OSH Act of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to combustible aluminum metal dust deflagration, explosion, and other fire hazards while working at or near Shop Fox Model W1666/W1685 dust collection system that was not designed and located to prevent or minimize employee exposure in the event of an internal deflagration or other fire event:   a)       Front Warehouse: On or about, 10/24/2016 employees were exposed to combustible aluminum metal dust deflagration, explosion, and other fire hazards. A Shop Fox dust collector Model W1666/W1685 specifically designed to collect wood dust was utilized to collect aluminum metal dust. The system was not designed and located to prevent or minimize employee exposure in the event of an internal deflagration or other fire event.
