29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. 1) Lafayette Square Apartment, 675 Lafayette Avenue, Building 6, Fayetteville, GA: On or about October 13, 2016, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of 11 feet, in that, fall protection was not provided to employees while installing siding from the second level balcony of the building.
