29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: a) Construction site, Homewood Suites, 5th floor - On or about October 18, 2016, Employees installing rebar on steel pan decking in a manner that defined it as a 1926.750(b)(2) activity with an unprotected exterior edge greater than 15 feet above the next lower level were not protected from falling. b) Construction site, Homewood Suites, 5th floor - On or about October 18, 2016, Employees installing rebar on steel pan decking in a manner that defined it as a 1926.750(b)(2) activity with an unprotected edge at the elevator shaft greater than 15 feet above the next lower level were not protected from falling.
