29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(ii) The employer did not certify that periodic (annual) inspections of energy control procedures were performed. The certification should identify the machine or equipment on which the energy control procedure was being utilized, the date of the inspection, the employees included in the inspection, and the person performing the inspection. (a) In that an examination of program elements determined that periodic inspections of energy control procedures were not accomplished and certified. Specifically, reviews were not conducted to determine if listed steps were still adequate, if any changes had occurred, or if employees had acquired the knowledge needed to effectively isolate energy sources. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6): Workplace labeling. Except as provided in paragraphs (f)(7) and (f)(8) of this section, the employer shall ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace is labeled, tagged or marked with either: On or about October 25, 2016, at the Engineered Plastic Components facility- one or more workers were exposed to chemical exposure hazards while working in the mechanic storage area due to the drums not having any labeling. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
