29 CFR 1926.59: The requirements applicable to construction work under this section are identical to those set forth at 29 CFR 1910.1200 of this chapter.    29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:     a) Rio Construction, LLC at work site of Ikea, 1800 McConnor Pkwy, Schaumburg, IL: On October 28, 2016,  employees  working at the job site were not provided information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area. Employees at the work site were exposed to hazardous chemicals including the White Knight Roof coating containing up to 7% toluene-2,4-diisocyanate (TDI), and 1-2% of toluene-2,6-diisocyanate.     b) Rio Construction, LLC at work site of Ikea, 1800 McConnor Pkwy, Schaumburg, IL: On October 28, 2016, all employees working at the job site were not provided information and training on the required  elements of the Hazard Communication Standard, including the labels (e.g., pictograms and signal words) and the format of the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) (i.e., section changes & section order and types of information contained within each section of the SDS), and the requirements under the Global Harmonization System (GHS) at the time of their initial hire or assignment.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
