29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(i): Employer did not use either ground fault circuit interrupters as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(ii) of this section, or an assured equipment grounding conductor program as specified in paragraph (b)(1)(iii) of this section to protect employees on construction sites. a) Langley Air force Base Building 330: On or about 10/28/2016, an orange 100 ft. extension cord energized from permanent power, used to provide temporary power to a pedestal light and battery charger was not protected with a ground fault circuit interrupter or assured equipment grounding conductor program to protect employees from an electrical shock hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
