29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt shall be worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift: a. On or about October 31, 2016, employees of Sauk Valley Builders were required to operate an aerial lift in the performance of their duties. These employees were observed operating the aerial without personal fall protection while traveling and working at heights. The employees were thereby exposed to falling approximately 12 feet. No abatement documentation is required for this item.
