29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury. a) Building 330, Langley AFB, VA 23665: On or about October 27, 2016, and times prior thereto, each employee exposed to hazards on an active construction site such as but not limited to falls while working on a mezzanine with an approximately 12'2" fall distance to lower level was not trained in fall hazard recognition and the procedures to be followed to minimize such hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
