29 CFR 1926.1053(a)(1)(i): Self supporting portable ladders were not capable of supporting, without failure, at least four times the maximum intended load: a) At 20234 Thompson Hall Rd. Fairhope, Alabama: On or about November 2, 2016 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to use a job made ladder to gain access to the roof and the ladder did not have braces installed between the ladder rungs exposing the employee to a fall hazard of 9 feet 4 inches to the ground below.
