29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about November 2, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to approximately a 10-foot fall hazard while installing wood trusses. The SLJC CARPENTRY INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1172316, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/25/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 1749 SW Penrose Ave, Port St Lucie, FL, 34953.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where (a) portable ladder(s) was/were used for access to an upper level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed, the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigid support that will not deflect, and/or a grasping device was not provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladder: On or about November 2, 2016, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was utilizing a unsecured aluminum ladder to access the roof exposing the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet. The SLJC CARPENTRY INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1053(b)(4) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1164082, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/25/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 902 SW Bellevue Ave, Port St Lucie, FL, 34953.
