29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems: 470 Memorial Drive, Chicopee, MA: On or about November 8, 2016 employees were observed performing roofing work on a low slope roof on a corporate rental property with unprotected sides and edges which were more than 6 feet above the next lower level and none of the employees were protected from falls by guardrails systems, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).

29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify fall protection training by preparing a written certification record. 470 Memorial Drive, Chicopee, MA: On or about November 4, 2016 employer did not verify fall protection training by preparing a written certification record for employees engaged in roofing activities in which 6 employees were exposed to falls from heights greater than 16 feet. Egidio Robinson dba E & M Construction Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1106557 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 18, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 18 Blokland Drive, Longmeadow, MA. Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
