Employees were observed working directly below employees on the roof installing planks and joists where there was a possible danger of falling objects that included framing materials, hand held power tools, and hand tools. Employees installing wood joists to the third story roof were observed working at the edge while using powered hand tools to cut the joists to size without any means of fall protection. Violation observed on or about November 10, 2016 b. 315 York Ave., Staten Island, NY - second and third levels Employees engaged in commercial framing activities were observed working at the outside edges without the use of fall protection or a guard rail. Employees installing wood joists were observed working at the edge while passing construction materials from one level to the next with any means of fall protection. Violation observed on or about November 10, 2016
