29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): Portable fire extinguishers were not subjected to an annual maintenance check. a) 6th Column NW of SE End of the Middle Roof, Outdoor Garden Center, 3207 PA-940, Mount Pocono, PA - The Strike First Corporation 10 LB Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher Model SF-ABC480AP mounted on an internal column had not received an annual maintenance check since December, 2014. Employees who attempted to extinguish a fire with the portable fire extinguisher were exposed to fire hazards, as observed on or about November 15, 2016. The Lowe's Home Center, LLC and its successors was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 909363, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/25/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 32 Mountain Valley Boulevard, Conway, NH 03818.
