Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. On or about November 16, 2016, employees were not protected from a fall while roofing a commercial building with a low sloped roof, exposing employees to a fall of over 25 feet. ADVANCED ROOFING AND WOODWORKING INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 950507, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 26, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 7500 W Roosevelt Rd. Forest Park, IL 60130. Abatement documentation is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
