29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 4221 Airline Dr., Shreveport, LA; On or about November 17, 2016, the employer allowed employees to work on a roof while not wearing fall protection or protected by a guardrail system. The employees were standing on the edge of the roof. The employees were approximately 18 feet above the ground.
