29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: At the job site located at 4541 Bauer Farm, Lawrence, Kansas, employees engaged in flooring activities, working and walking on the second floor balcony of building E, were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the second floor balcony of building E to the ground below, in that fall protection was not utilized.
