29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries. a) At the Range Management office, the portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, one extinguisher was staged on top of the file cabinet while the other was standing next to the desk drawers. The USDA Forest Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 911908, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/07/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 28104 Hi-way 18, Rock Camp Station, Lake Arrowhead, CA 92352.
