29 CFR 1910.176(a): Where mechanical handling equipment is used, sufficient safe clearances were not allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways and wherever turns or passage must be made. Aisles and passageways were not kept clear and in good repair, with no obstruction across or in aisles that could create a hazard. Permanent aisles and passageways were not appropriately marked: (a) The employer did not ensure that sufficient safe clearances were kept clear where broken and other mail carts were staged on the East dock area along doors 82 thru 88. This exposed employees to struck-by hazards. THE EMPLOYER WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1910.176(a), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 113551, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 04/26/16, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 951 W. BETHEL ROAD, COPPELL, TEXAS 75099.

29 CFR 1910.176(c): Housekeeping. Storage areas were not kept free from accumulation of materials that constitute hazards from tripping, fire, explosion, or pest harborage.
