29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): (a) 3801 Raytown Road, Kansas City, MO 64129; The employer is failing to protect employees who work with hazardous chemicals such as welding steel. This was most recently documented on November 22, 2016, when employees worked with hazardous chemicals welding fumes created from welding metals with no written hazard communication program. Exposure to metal fumes may cause changes to the lung, cause cancer or reproductive effects. Some carbon steel components are carcinogens. Overexposure to dusts or fumes effect eyes, skin, kidney, liver, central nervous system, cardiovascular system and respiratory system. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose .
