Employees performing framing work are not being protected from 8 feet 3 inches, and up to 22 feet 3 inches, fall hazards by a fall protection system.  The employer routinely fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on November 28, 2016, when employees were roof framing of a two-story residence at 4072 Coastal Avenue, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250 without fall protections and were exposed to fall hazard of up to 22 feet 3 inches above the surrounding ground.  AJ New Construction and Repair, Inc. previously committed a repeat-serious violation of this standard on August 22, 2016, with respect to a workplace at 55 N. Roscoe Blvd., Ponte Vedra, Florida which became a final order on November 1, 2016 (Inspection No. 1171443).      AJ New Construction and Repair, Inc. previously committed a willful violation of this standard on June 4, 2016, with respect to a workplace at 1684 State Street, Jacksonville, Florida which became a final order on September 14, 2016 (Inspection No. 1152474).
