29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems.   a. 815 17th Street Union City, NJ  Employees engaged in bolting steel members were exposed to fall hazards of 20 feet while working in close proximity to an unprotected edge without the means of fall protection.  Violation occurred on or about 11/02/2016  Employees without any means of fall protection was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet as employees  were engaged in steel erection activities while walking over steel joists.
