29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: FSS 4, U.S. Postal Service NDC, 190 Fiberloid St, Springfield, Massachusetts; On or before November 29, 2016 flexible cords were used in lieu of permanent wiring on flat sorting and sequencing machine #4. a. flexible cord run overhead and powering a 2 outlet box attached to the building surface. b. flexible cord run to a personal cooling fan The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1020590, citation number 1, item number 3B and was affirmed as a final order on May 13, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 190 Fiberloid Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01151. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1001209, citation number 1, item number 3B and was affirmed as a final order on March 3, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 190 Fiberloid Street, Springfield, Massachusetts, 01151.
