29 CFR 1926.303(b)(1): Grinding machines were not equipped with safety guards in conformance with the requirements of American National Standards Institute, B7.1-1970, Safety Code for the Use, Care and Protection of Abrasive Wheels, and paragraph (d) of this section. On or about November 29, 2016 at the above addressed jobsite, an employee was exposed to lacerations while operating an angle electric grinder without the guard, the employee was grinding a window opening in preparation for window installation.
