29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings (including those with chute openings) where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 m) above the walking/working surface, was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system: a) Construction Site at 600 Main St., Lykens, PA: South side of "Hotel" building 2nd floor through 4th floor had 3 window openings, all with 32-33 inch high window sills and did not have a 42 inch high guardrail in place therefore exposing employees to fall hazards on or about October 25, 2016. No abatement certification or documentation required.
