Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   a. On or about November 30, 2016, at a worksite located at 410 Linda Avenue, in the Village of Hillcrest Illinois, employees of A.M. Kerns Construction, LLC were working on a residential roof and were not using fall protection. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 8 feet.      Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
