29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a. Press Room/North Wall - On or about November 30, 2016, employees were required to clean/wash printing press parts/plates with a corosive material and they were not provided with an adequate and quick eye wash station. Employees were thereby exposed to eye irritations and burns. 1. The single bottle eye wash station (32 -oz.) was not suitable for the flushing of the eyes. In addition, it was unbolted on the upper right side corner. 2. The emergency only - single bottle eye wash station was not adequate for use; several 55 gallon drums were blocking its quick use.
