29 CFR 1926.501(c)(3): Barricade the area to which objects could fall, prohibit employees from entering the barricaded area, and keep objects that may fall far enough away from the edge of a higher level so that those objects would not go over the edge if they were accidentally displaced. Location: WTC Tower 3, New York, NY. First Floor Elevator Number 3. a) Employees were installing the hoist cable for the elevator car number 3 from 54th floor when the cable dropped quickly. An employee was working in the first floor shaft and was struck by the cable. On or about 12/01/16.
