29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. A. O & G Remodelations LLC worksite located at 105 Comfort Dr., Upper Sandusky, Ohio: On or about December 2, 2016, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards while removing and installing weatherproofing on the two story commercial structure. Employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 18.00 feet from the 4/12 pitch roof. O & G Remodelations LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501 (b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 985656, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on September 8, 2014 with respect to a workplace located at Columbus, Ohio.
