29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location Production Area: On or about December 08, 2016, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to an explosion hazard in the grain milling area, in that they failed to ensure that all electrical equipment, such as but not limited to a: Jet Dust Collector (Model DC-1200VX-3: HP-2 Serial #11100704); RIGID wet/dry vac (Model: WD06701: Serial #15135R1522); and Panasonic radio (Model: SA-HT920) operated in the area was approved for a DIVISION 1, CLASS II location. A sample taken on December 08, 2016 was determined to be a CLASS II explosive combustible dust.
