29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. A. Quality Construction by Schmucker worksite located at 800 Ambrose Dr., Delphos, Ohio: On or about December 8, 2016, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards while performing framing activities. The exposed employees were installing trusses and standing on wall top plates. Employees were exposed to fall distances up to 11.00 feet.
