29 CFR 1910.145(c)(3): Safety instruction signs. Safety instruction signs shall be used where there is a need for general instructions and suggestions relative to safety measures: a. On or about December 14, 2016, the Employer failed to provide sufficient safety instruction signage or other written instructions, regarding where a package handler should be staged to retrieve packages from extend conveyors, prohibition against bypassing guards, and specifically what guarding must be reviewed as part of the preventative maintenance program for extend conveyors.
