29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: a) Customer Care Center - Employees were working in an area where the emergency exit door had a thumb latch dead bolt that could have prevented egress from the area in the event of a fire or other emergency, on or about 12/13/2016. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1075593, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 08, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5901 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 403102, citation 1, item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 13, 2013, with respect to workplace located at 3131 Arch Airport Road, Stockton CA 95213.
