29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000(a) through (d): (a) In the feed area, on or about December 30, 2016 and at times prior to, the employer did not implement feasible engineering controls or work practices to reduce and maintain employee crystalline silica exposure to or below the calculated permissible exposure limit of 0.149 milligrams per cubic meter of air for an employee that was exposed to a time-weighted average of 3.4 milligrams per cubic meter of air exposing the employee to a chemical hazard.
