29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. On 12/21/2016, The Owner and an employee from Coverdell Glass and Mirror Inc. were installing metal framing supports for glass windows on a commercial building located at 401 Outer Road West, Valley Park, MO. The employees were working from an aerial lift, which had the boom in the elevated position approximately twenty feet above the ground. The employees were inside the boom working without the use of body belts or body harnesses and lanyards not attached to the boom or basket of the aerial lift.
