Exit door was blocked by several pallets of stored product and a forklift.     Condition observed on or about 12/22/2016.

29 CFR 1910.176(b): Secure storage. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse:    a) Distribution Warehouse & Service Corp. at 2400 Bedel Place, Linden, NJ site- Storage area (front aisle):    Storage of material created a hazard. Employees were exposed to struck by hazards of collapsing racks of the metal storage racking system while the employees warehoused materials.  Industrial steel storage racks which were bent or damaged and were used to for storage of pallets containing various sized containers of  product and other supplies.  Racking system had damage to several stanchions.    Condition noted on or about 12/22/2016.
