Employers are required to provide fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds where the installation and use of such protection is feasible and does not create a greater hazard. Mountain Dr. Wausau, WI: On December 27, 2016, employees were exposed to falls while dismantling a scaffold after the guardrails were removed and when the competent person did not assess the feasibility of providing alternative fall protection methods.
