29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Roof - An employee disassembling a roof scaffold after chimney work was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately fifteen (15) feet without the use of guardrail systems, safety net system or personal fall arrest system, on or about November 21st, 2016. b) Roof - An employee working on the roof, filling in anchor holes with caulk was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately fifteen (15) feet without the use of guardrail systems, safety net system or personal fall arrest system, on or about November 21st, 2016. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
