29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1): The employer did not certify to OSHA, within 10 calendar days after the abatement date, that the cited violation had been abated.  On or about December 15, 2016 an inspection of the MD Ventures, Inc. was conducted and citations  with penalties were issued. To date following the inspection, no abatement certification has been sent.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

29 CFR 1910.110(f)(2)(ii): 29 CFR 1910.110(f)(2)(ii):  LP gas container(s) stored inside were located near or in area(s) normally used or intended for the safe exit of employees.  On or about December 15, 2016 at 209 Bobby jones Expressway, Augusta, Georgia, employees working in and around the warehouse were exposed to a fire and explosion hazard when two LP gas cylinders were stored inside the warehouse.

On or about December 15, 2016 at 209 Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta, Georgia:  Employees working in the warehouse were exposed to trips and falls, when the passageways and aisles were obstructed with, equipment, boxes, merchandise, and material.  MD Ventures, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.22(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1136675, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/20/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 209 Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta, Georgia

Employees are exposed to hazards associated with the use of chemicals products such as, but not limited to propane, Acetone, and wood stains.  The employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program..   MD Ventures, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1136675, citation number 1, item number 5a and was affirmed as a final order on 07/20/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 209 Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta, Georgia.

29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area.  On or about December 15, 2016 at 209 Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta, Georgia, where employees are exposed to hazards associated with the use of chemical products such as, but not limited to propane, acetone, and wood stains, the employees were not trained on the hazards associated with the safe handling, use and storage of these chemical products.    MD Ventures, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1136675, citation number 1, item number 5c and was affirmed as a final order on 07/20/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 209 Bobby Jones Expressway, Augusta, Georgia.
