M-1 Closer Take-Up Area:  Employees were exposed to struck by the load hazards as the Hyster shipping forklift had a bent load backrest with 2 uprights missing.  The Hyster shipping forklift also had damaged tires with chunks of rubber missing.  The shipping forklift had not been taken out of service until it was in safe operating condition.
