On or about January 10, 2017, an employee using Hitachi NR83A2 pneumatic nail guns to conduct framing operations was not wearing safety glasses, exposing himself to being hit by nails or flying debris.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section: a. On or about January 10, 2017, while elevated by a Genie GTH-644 rough terrain forklift truck, two employees were performing framing operations in a make-shift wooden elevated platform without a fall protection system, exposing themselves to an approximated to a 15-foot fall hazard.
