29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: On January 11, 2017, at the front of the house, reinforcing steel bars ranging in height from 3 to 18 inches above concrete blocks were not guarded, exposing the workers to impalement hazards.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain copies of the required material safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) On January 11, 2017, at the project site, the employer did not maintain safety data sheets for Hanil Portland cement used at the work site. BME & Sons, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1050504, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 29, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at the Renovation & Expansion of Existing ITF Area, AB Won Pat International Airport, Barrigada, GU 96913.
