29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: Location: 895 Woodend Road, Stratford, CT 06615 Linen Conveyor Line (W7) a. Beginning of line, the 1 ¾ inch by 2 ½ inch gap created an ingoing nip point where conveyor belt meets the roller and was not equipped with a guard. b. End of line, the 1 inch by 1/16th inch gap created an ingoing nip point where conveyor belt meets the roller and was not equipped with a guard.
